Description of Renewable Energy Finance Business:
Understanding and predicting the weather and climate and its impacts on renewable energy generation is the core of what 3TIER does. We use sophisticated computer modeling systems, in-house expertise and reliable delivery mechanisms to forecast both the short-term intermittency and the long-term availability of renewable energy. We provide utility-scale, scientifically based products and services to our clients.
Our assessment reports are geared towards helping financiers and developers answer the question of project feasibility by putting resource information into a historical perspective. Using scientifically supported methods, we can determine the long-term performance of a potential site, including projected wind speed and power output.
